In a big upcoming experiment we will look at the differences in microbiomes between conventionally and organically grown carrots and lettuce.

Besides this, we will look at whether or not these good microbes on these vegetables can end up in the human gut. This is where you can help us!

If you are healthy, between 18-50 years old and live in the Amsterdam area (or if you know someone with this profile) you can apply to receive free carrots and lettuce from us for 7 weeks from the end of August till mid-October.

All you have to do is a take-in conversation, a conversation at the end of the study and occasional telephone-contact, all with our researcher Alisa Allais. Furthermore, you only need to eat the vegetables! And take some stool samples (don't worry, our kit makes it very easy, clean and hygienic).
